Pink Rides is a community bike program for students at the Rhode Island School of Design. It is under the umbrella of BIKE TOWN a student run organization meant to facilitate conversation action and community for cyclists in and around the RISD campus.

Pink Rides is a free service. Its goal is to extend the joys of cycling to those who do not have access. It allows a a broader range of motion, thus allowing students to get out of their "bubble" with greater ease. It also provides a means of green transportation. The list of benefits goes on.

Currently Pink Rides is in its BETA stage. Pilot bikes and advertisement will be on campus by Nov. 20. By spring semester we hope to scale up to serve the community with 20 bikes.
